President Harding's Voyage of Understanding, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Side A

This stereograph by Keystone View Company shows both United States Marines and British troops lined up for President Warren G. Harding during a stop in Vancouver, British Columbia, during his "Voyage of Understanding." The Voyage of Understanding was the name given to Harding's tour of the western United States and Alaska. Harding was the first sitting president to visit Alaska and was also the first sitting president to visit Canada. The caption reads: "British Troops and United States Marines in Line for President Harding at Vancouver, B. C."
